David-Muir
David Muir (born August 25 1948) is an American anchor, journalist and reporter. He is most well-known for his show World News Tonight. With animated animations and funny videos of celebrities' chatter, his program has grown to become the most watched newscast in America. Made In America, his Emmy nominated show, is one of his other credits. He was Diane Sawyer's main replacement anchor prior to his appointment as anchor of ABC World News Tonight. In the past he's covered a variety of ABC News primetime specials including Breaking Point Heroin in America. His journeys have brought him to every regions of the globe, from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti the Gulf of Mexico and many more. He's received several Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards as well as numerous distinctions and awards by and the Associated Press.
