Selena Gomez is an internationally known actress and singer. One of the projects she's participated in and has enjoyed the most popularity has been the Disney series called Wizards of Waverly Place. The full title of her name is Selena Marie Gomez. Born on July 22 of 1992 at Grand Prairie Texas. Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez were the parents of Selena. Her mother, Amanda Cornett, was sixteen years old at the time Selena was born. In the age of nine, she got her first role in showbiz when she was cast as Gianna in Barney and her Friends. The role was to be one of the kids who played with the most well-known human-like dinosaur in the form of a purple. Selena contributed to the show's the seasons 7 and 8. Between 2001 and 2003, she was a part of the cast. Interesting information: Demi Lovato, who was part of Barney's Friends in the same time period also, was a co-star with Selena.
